5 Things I'm Looking Forward To In 2017

I'm going to take Luka on so many adventures this year and also go to new places that I myself have never been before. I'm lucky to live in an area that has so much countryside and beautiful locations to visit. Holidays are also a must, I'm not 100% where I'm going to book to go yet, as where Luka is so young I don't want him to be travelling for long periods of time, but wherever we go I'll make sure there are plenty of attractions to visit so he can experience new things and most certainly a beach!

As much as I'd like Luka to stay little forever, watching him grow is magical, I'm already seeing big changes in him each week and to think that in 2 weeks time he'll be able to eat whatever he likes is incredible. I can't wait to hear what his first word is, watch him go from crawling to walking and see his personality and characteristics develop. I'm taking pictures daily and keeping memories to look back on in years to come. He's also going to be 1 in August something I'm beyond excited for.

Even though I'm not yet revealing what my business is going to be, I'm working so hard to ensure it's perfect for when I do launch. Having my own business is something I've longed to do, yet, something has always come up and I've had to dismiss the idea, however this year nothing is getting in my way and I cannot express how excited I am to share what I've been working on with you all. I'm not launching until the end of the year, but I will be showing sneak peeks as I progress on this journey.

Photography is a huge passion of mine and I use to spend hours taking photo's and editing them for Flickr, it was a massive hobby of mine, however, I kind of hit a brick wall and didn't know if I wanted to do it as a career or if it was just a weekend kind of thing. I really express myself through photography so this year I'm going to rekindle my love for it and start building up a portfolio with some new projects, maybe a 365, as well as making a small studio in my room.

I'm beyond excited to be going to Reading Festival with my sister again this year, we went in 2015 but because of my pregnancy last year we obviously had to pass on it. It's going to be my first time away from Luka, so it will be nerve-wracking and I'm going to miss him crazy amounts, but he's going to be spending quality time with his Dad and Nana so I can finally have some time to myself for the first time in what will be 2 years! I will be taking photo's and blogging about the whole thing and if anyone else is going be sure to send me a message, it would be great to meet some of you!

I'm sure many new things are in store for me this year, which is why I love being able to write about them along the way and share my memories and experiences with you, it's something I will be able to look back on and know that I made the most of my life and didn't just sit wishing it away, I'm a big believer when it comes to if you want something bad enough, and you work hard enough, you will achieve it. xo
