Life Changes

Sometimes in life it's typical to slip into a routine that you become accustom to but isn't necessarily making you happy. This happened to me for a long time, and recently I have changed so much about my life in order to become more happy and positive.

Firstly I thought about all the things that were making me unhappy, whether it was my job, relationships, my diet or the way I was feeling, and I turned it round, anything bad I threw out of my life, there way no point hanging onto the bad when it was just bringing me down.

I felt like I wasn't doing a lot with my life and for that I became selfish and unmotivated. This has changed now, I started with giving myself a new basic routine, like sleeping a certain amount of hours, making sure I eat 3 meals a day and taking up a passion for yoga and meditation.

Yoga and meditation have completely changed me, it gives me time to self focus, get rid of negative energy and also feel more energised. They may not be for everybody, but it's had a huge impact on my life and the way I go about things.

As for my diet, I've cut down on Caffeine, Alcohol and unhealthy foods, and replaced them with more healthier options. I'm currently on detox and only drinking water for a month, which I will be blog my process soon. I do this a few times a year to flush all the bad from my body, it also helps me heal and my skin benefits from it. Water is one of the best things for the body and will help in so many ways, if you're like me and don't like the taste of plain water, add some fruit slices that way you're still being healthy but also get a better tasting drink.

If you're unhappy with your job or college course etc, don't sit around and continue to be happy, life is to short, there is no point wasting your time doing a college course if you're not going to benefit from it or it's not something that you are going to pursue, change and do something you enjoy, follow your dreams. Same with your job, look for somewhere else where you know you will be more suited.

If things are becoming a storm of negative thoughts in your head, talk to someone about it, or find a way to release it, whether it's writing it down, drawing, talking to people. You will benefit so much more getting it off your shoulders rather than bottling it all up, because no one will be able to help or understand, and it will just build up.

Write down all of your passions and dreams, and take steps to achieve them, a positive mind will result in a positive life.
